Main Events
Championship Division:
$240 entry fee (90% return) with optional $100 side-pool (100% return). Double-elimination w/Progressive Consolation. 11-point matches with time clocks. The Blaydes/Glazer Memorial Trophy is awarded to the Championship winner.

Advanced Division:
$120 entry (85% return) with optional $80
side-pool (100% return). Double-elimination w/Progressive Consolation. 9-point matches.

Limited Division:
$40 entry fee (80% return) 7-point matches using Double-Elimination format. No time clocks.

Other Trophy Events
Georgia Peach Cup:
$400 entry (90% return) with optional $140 side-pool (100% return). 13-point matches with clocks, single-elimination format. Limited to 16 players. Georgia Peach Cup awarded to winner.

Dogwood Jackpot:
$140 entry (85% return), single-elimination
with 9-point clocked matches. Limited to 16 players. Dogwood plaque awarded to winner.

Doubles Tournament:
$160 entry fee per team (80% return) with optional $40 side-pool (100% return). Single-elimination format, 9-point matches w/clocks. Open to players not alive in other events.

Side Events
Kickoff Tournament:
$40 entry fee (80% return) and with optional $40 side-pool (100% return). Single-elimination with progressive consolation, 7-point clocked matches.
(starts at 2 p.m. Friday, concludes Friday)
Micro-Blitz:
$20 entry fee (80% return). 3-point matches (no clocks). Winners of each 4-player bracket get $30 and advance to the winner-take-all playoffs.
(starts at 1:30 p.m. Friday, concludes Sunday)
Peach Cup Qualifiers:
$100 entry fee, 4-player fields. Single-elimination format with 7-point clocked matches. Qualifier winners receive $400 entry into the Georgia Peach Cup on Friday, 16-Sept-2006 (6 p.m start).
Qualifier start time: 2:00 p.m. Friday, 15-Sept

Last Chance:
$50 entry fee (80% return) with optional $50 side-pool (100% return). Single-elimination format, 5-point clocked matches. Open to all 2006 Georgia Backgammon participants.

A Player Auction for players entered in the Championship and Intermediate divisions will be held immediately after registration closes at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2006. Bid on your favorite players to win it all and share in the event excitement!
