For 2007, every Monday night is Backgammon Night, as the Atlanta Backgammon Association returns to host weekly backgammon tournaments at the fabulous Landmark Sidedoor Lounge in Buckhead! $20 entry fee with two optional $$ bonus pools. Format is single-elimination with a progressive-feed consolation for all main bracket losers and late arrivals. 7-point matches in main bracket, 5-point matches in consolation. Monday night tournaments start promptly at 7 p.m., with a random bracket draw at 6:45 p.m. (must be present to be eligible for any byes). Double Master Points are awarded on the last Monday of each month! Entry fee for newcomers is only $10, or bring a first-time player and get $5 off your entry fee!! The Landmark Sidedoor Lounge is located at 3652 Roswell Road in Atlanta, at the intersection of Roswell Road and Piedmont Road. Please use the side entrance ramp from the Landmark Diner parking lot.
